Have had the HN7000S for a number of years now, it's funky in that I am constantly rebooting the modem, and my airport extreme, due to problems with web acceleration, being timed out and freezes. I've been through all the diagnostics with the Hughes support center and have had a technician out to the house last month to tweak the system. Still funky! I am hoping that I can upgrade to the HN9000s later this year and maybe web serfing will be faster than though the phone lines (copper up here in the forest, high sierras). I am paying $92.00 a month and have few other options available in my locality. I envy my son's high speeed internet connection in Modesto, CA. It's like instantaneous! It takes up to a minute for me to access websites!
